Carhartt Work In Progress was established in 1994 as a distribution network for Carhartt in Europe, offering a selection of classic products from the original workwear range. In 1997, Work In Progress designed its first product range exclusively for Europe. Under license and with the expressed consent of the company's HQ in Dearborn, Michigan, Carhartt WIP has adapted, reinterpreted, and refitted workwear cuts to fit the demands of an active life in the urban environment while remaining true to Carhartt's core values of quality, durability, and comfort.
