Wide, boxy jacket with dropped shoulders, pointed collar with hidden stand, oversized pocket flaps, and an elasticated back hem. Made from MAN-TLE’s original MT-Wax, a heavyweight cotton cloth woven in Shizuoka and coated and baked in paraffin wax in Fukui. Initially stiff and structured, the fabric softens, fades, and changes in texture and form with wear and washing. Finished with a double ended size 10 YKK zipper. Made in Japan. 100% cotton with paraffin wax coating.

Founded in 2015 by Aida Kim and Larz Harry, MAN-TLE is an Australian clothing label produced by Heavy Weight Clothing Pty Ltd, a design and fabrication company specializing in the production of textiles, garments, accessories and objects with expert Japanese manufacturers. MAN-TLE works from their studio in Northbridge, Western Australia, which is also their flagship store.

MAN-TLE garments prioritize practicality, ingenuity and durability. Their pieces are constructed from a signature MAN-TLE cloth, purpose-made in collaboration with family-run factories in some of Japan's oldest textile regions. They source other featured materials and quality hardware from around the world to ensure every MAN-TLE item adapts, evolves, and ages with wear.

Shipping and Returns

Sale items and limited launch products are final sale.

Free ground shipping is available on domestic orders over $300.

Full price merchandise may be returned for a refund if shipped back within 10 days of delivery. Items must be returned in new, unworn condition with all original packaging. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, and original shipping charges are non refundable.

Returns over $300 are subject to a 5% restocking fee.
