Converse by Kasina 女

Twenty years ago, Seoul-based streetwear brand Kasina opened its doors and changed the pace of Korean street style. The brand has since then become a driving influence for musicians, artists, and skaters alike by sticking to their skate culture roots and pushing cultural boundaries.

Kasina, meaning "girl" in Korean, has teamed up with Converse to pay homage to their 20-year impact on Seoul youth culture and the worldwide streetwear industry.

The classic Chuck 70 Ox and One Star silhouettes have been revamped to include detailed leather uppers and contrast stitching. The shoes also feature a black pinstripe detail on the soles and the iconic one star logo in red. To match, both shoes are completed with the embroidered Hanja symbols for Kasina, "女" and "1997," the store's opening year, placed on a red back heel tab.

Both pairs of the #ConverseByKasina will be in-store and online in men's sizes 7-12 starting Friday, July 13th. Watch the full release teaser by Kasina and Converse below.
